Dr Roger Handtke is a board certified family practice physician. He graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988. Finished residency in 1991. He practiced in DeMotte, IN for 23 years. He then moved to northern Wisconsin and practiced at an Indian Health Service clinic in Hayward WI. He returned to this area ( Lowell, IN ) in 2018. He and his wife, Karen have four sons. They moved back to be near family ( including a 3 year old granddaughter and 2 year old grandson ). He has been friends with Dr Jacobus and Dr Brechner for many years and wanted to finish his career with a less busy lifestyle. He joined them and is currently working part time 2 days a week at Winfield Family Medicine. 

Dr Handtke is involved in his local church, enjoys reading, fishing, outdoors and extended family time.
